Since their first appearance in 1987, when five tiny bisque figures were introduced, Snowbabies have enchanted collectors around the country and have brightened the imaginations of all of us who celebrate the gentle play of youthful innocence. This charming collection has grown to include water globes, music boxes, and ornaments made of porcelain bisque and European glass. These finely detailed collectibles with hand-painted faces and hand-applied frosty bisque crystals are created by artist Kristi Jensen Pierro. Kristi’s ideas for Snowbabies are inspired by watching children, mostly her own, and by recalling her childhood experiences. The title of each design is an expression that adds charm to the piece and tells the story. From the Frosty Frolic Land of Snowbabies comes the wish that a sparkle of joy will touch your day and that you sense the magic and laughter all around you … in every snowfall. |
